Little Sahara Engagement Session | Tara + Evan

When Tara first emailed me about wanting to have a session at the Little Sahara state park, I knew this was going to be a good day. However, I couldn’t have anticipated just how amazing this day would be (okay, I might have had a little idea because she asked if they could bring their family’s Defender, a vehicle I’ve been obsessed with since I was 15). We actually first met at the Salt Flats, which I’ll be blogging in a different post, and after that we made our way to the Little Sahara. If you’ve never been here, let me just say I’m still shocked it exists in Oklahoma. It really does feel like you’re in the middle of the Sahara desert, and sharing the experience with Tara and Evan made for such a wonderful day. We ran up and down dunes and got to drive the Defender around and find the best spots for photos, all the while chatting about Evan’s work as an airplane mechanic and the amazing places they had traveled. Tara, Evan, can we repeat this day again soon please?!
