Is Datebox Really Worth It?
We kept seeing ads for Datebox around social media, so when we reached out and asked if we could take some photos in exchange for a box we were ecstatic when Datebox said yes. We initially were only going to take some photos, but we were so impressed with the boxes we got we wanted to do a full review!
We love a good adventure, but a lot of times we’re also the couple that would to prefer to sit around in comfy pants (or none), watch The Office, and go to bed early (so exciting, I know). Nevertheless, if I’m being completely honest we didn’t expect to be as impressed with the Datebox as we were!
The box we photographed was a “casino night” themed box that came with a full set of everything we needed to play two card games, the ingredients and cups for chocolate mocktails, full instructions for the games and mocktails, and also some conversation starter questions. Everything that came in the box was great quality and you could tell the folks over at Datebook had really thought out and planned every detail. Since we were behind the camera we didn’t get to use this box (no worries, we got one for ourselves!), and even the models for this session were really impressed with how well everything was planned and how good the mocktails were, which isn’t a joke because I think I singlehandedly finished the extra that we made. Oops.
If you’ve seen our posts or Datebox advertisements around and wondered if Datebox is actually worth it, we definitely think it is! We’re signed up for 6 months, and getting a box every month is as good as forgetting you ordered something and then it showing up like a present to yourself, except it’s someone else planning the present and all you have to do is enjoy.
